Senior care by state
Browse 2002 verified senior care communities by state. Within each state you can drill down by city and by care type, assisted living, memory care, nursing homes, home health, hospice, and independent living, with the federal inspection and staffing record on every nursing home.
How CaringAtlas covers each state
For every state we fuse the federal CMS record for nursing homes, hospices, and home health agencies (star ratings, inspection deficiencies, staffing, fines) with the communities' own information for state-licensed assisted living and memory care. We are expanding state by state; we publish a community only after it clears our verification, so coverage grows as we confirm each one rather than padding the map with thin listings.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find senior care in my state?
Pick your state above, then drill down to your city and the type of care you need. Each community shows its location, accepted payment, and, for nursing homes, the full CMS inspection and staffing record.
Which states does CaringAtlas cover?
We are rolling out state by state and publish a community only after it passes verification. The federal nursing-home, hospice, and home-health data is national; state-licensed assisted living and memory care are added as we confirm them.
Are nursing-home ratings the same in every state?
The CMS Five-Star ratings, inspection deficiencies, and staffing measures are federal and comparable across states, which is what makes them trustworthy. Assisted living rules and Medicaid waivers differ by state, so check the state program for those.
